graham cracker crumb pie shell18 in Borden Sweetend Condense Milk1can
Lemon Juice1/2cup lemon peel1tsp
egg yolks2 egg whites2room temperature
cream of tartar1/4tsp sugar1/4cup

Directions:
Filling: In a medium sized mixing bowl blend together Borden Sweetened Condense Milk, lemon juice, lemon peel & yolks until thickened. Turn into pie shell.<br /><br />Meringue: In small sized bowl whip egg whites with cream of tartar until they hold a soft peak. Gradually whip in sugar, continue to whip just until whites hold firm peaks. Pile onto pie filling and seal to inside edge of pie. Bake in a 325 degree oven (slow) until top is golden brown about 15 minutes. Cool.
