Directions:
Divide the butter in half. Preheat oven to 425degrees- Combine frozen hash browns, cheese, & onion in large bowl. In another bowl, blend milk, beef stock, one tbs butter, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Pour over potato mixture & stir well. Warm remaining 1 tbs melted butter in large oven proof skillet over high heat. When hot add potato mixture & cook, stirring occasionally until hot & all of cheese has melted. Place skillet in oven & bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until surface is dark brown.
