brown sugar3/4cup white sugar3/4cup
evaporated milk1/2cup butter3tbs
vanilla1tbs pecans1cup

Directions:
Mix the first three ingredients, 3/4 cup of dark brown sugar;3/4 cup of white sugar; and 1/2 cup of evaporated milk in a pot. Cook over low heat to soft boil forms in a cup of cold water. Test 236 degrees F. Stirring constantly. (About 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 3 tbs butter;1tbs vanilla and 1 cup pecans.
Then beat until mixture begins to thicken but not until it looses it gloss.

Drop tablespoon or so of candy onto a marble slab or double thickness of waxed paper. Candy will flatten out.
