51: White Chocolate Bread Pudding; Source: Palace Cafe

Whipping Cream3cups White chocolate10oz
milk1cup sugar1/2cup
egg2 egg yokes8
French Bread1loaf sliced chocolate shavings2tbs
White chocolate8oz melted heavy cream3oz

Directions:
BREAD PUDDING; Heat whipping cream- add 10oz white chocolate- when chocolate is melted remove from heat (note: you may want to use a double boiler to avoid scorching). In double boiler heat milk-sugar-eggs & yokes- until warm.
Blend egg mixture into cream &chocolate mixture. Place 1/4 slices of French bread in a baking pan- pour 1/2 mixture over bread and let settle. (let bread soak up mixture) then top with rest of moisture.
Cover with foil & bake 1 hour at 275 degrees. Remove foil & bake 15 minutes until top is golden brown.

TO SERVE; spoon hot out of oven or let cool to room temperature-then place in fridge for about 45 minutes- loosen sides & invert pan- cut in squares. Top with sauce and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.

SAUCE; Melt 8oz white chocolate in double boiler- remove from heat and mix in heavy cream. Spoon over bread pudding.

Serves 8- may be kept at room temperature
